WELCOME
The purpose of this web site is to raise public awareness and provide information about
Huntington's Disease and the situation of those who experience it in New Zealand.
|
Our Logo
The logo was designed as a symbolic head and upper torso representing the effect HD
has on the cognitive and physical functions of a person. The smaller inner figure
illustrates the reduced physical and cognitive abilities of the person with HD.
The logo represents the vibrant flower of the amaryllis, which recognises the growth and
development of HD Associations throughout the world.
